Research and Development

Guided by its Vision, Mission, Goal and Objectives, CSU crafted its Five-Year Research and Development Agenda. The Agenda shall serve as the detailed road map towards achieving the common goal of reducing poverty through proper education and economic development efforts while sustaining the natural resources for the future generations. In adherence to the Caraga Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2004-2010 toward seeing the region equitably wealthy, the CSU R&D Agenda likewise reflects the basic sources of livelihood for Caraga populace; agriculture, forestry, fishery and mining, and the need for higher level of educational capacities. The basic livelihood sources of Caraga populations and the status of functional literacy in the region serve as the guide for the Institute's efforts to generate information, technologies and knowledge in support to the region's quest to be free from poverty and ignorance.
